Our journey
Wissario GmbH was founded in May 2025 by Pascal Wissmann after more than 14 years in enterprise IT. Having experienced first-hand how external consulting can both add value and fall short, he set out to build something different: a consultancy grounded in deep technical expertise, practical implementation, and economic sense for the client.
From day one, Wissario committed itself to ISO/IEC 27001 – not just as a service for clients, but as our own guiding framework.
This means we’re building our own systems to meet the same rigorous standards we recommend to clients, ensuring that we practice what we preach.
Along the way, we discovered why many organizations hesitate to apply the standard. At first glance, ISO/IEC 27001 often appears complex, theoretical, and detached from real business needs. Applied correctly, however, it is a powerful tool for focusing security efforts where they matter most – without unnecessary overhead.
That insight shaped our mission: to provide the full journey from analysis to implementation for organizations that want structured, value-driven IT infrastructure and information security. By combining modern tools such as structured databases and artificial intelligence with years of hands-on implementation experience, Wissario helps organizations build secure, reliable environments across data centers, cloud platforms, and field operations.

Pascal Wissmann
Over more than 14 years, Pascal worked across the full lifecycle of IT infrastructure – from operations and migrations, data center management and IT Service Continuity Management to large-scale M&A projects – gaining first-hand insight into how external advisors can both accelerate, and sometimes hinder, organizational progress.
That experience shaped a clear motivation: to build a consultancy that combines deep technical expertise with practical implementation – and delivers advice that makes economic sense for the client.
Pascal holds a Diploma in IT-Security (Ruhr-University Bochum, 2011) as well as Master’s in Computer Science with a specialization in Machine Learning (Georgia Tech, 2023). He is certified as PECB ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer and Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator.
His experience comprises operations and projects in Europe, North Africa, and Latin America including 2.5 years based in Mexico working on both urban and offshore infrastructure projects.
But credentials tell only part of the story. Pascal believes that the implementation of standards like ISO 27001 does not have to be abstract or overly complex. When applied correctly, they’re powerful tools that create real value: securing organizations where it matters most, without unnecessary overhead.
